As part of the Vitra Home stories I share my take on the vision of ‘the home’.
My home features a contrasting mix of Eames classics and contemporary design objects and artwork. I have an obsession with collecting objects, curating spaces and layering spaces to connect them. My home is in constant shift, allowing a backdrop for ideation and change. Spaces change in response to our needs. So there’s always a project going on, everywhere. My home acts as a backdrop for family life, work, entertaining and testing ideas.
“Everything has a story. About a year ago we managed to get an original plywood splint by Eames, which we’d been after for years. As the Eames did, I am living in my own collection of Life – Curation is central to everything. Surrounded by good classic design that’s is still a surprise is important”.
